So I was going through Sensational Disney’s StatCounter, trying to figure out why this blog kept coming up in the referred pages

and I see this

“tweaking” someone’s existing code doesn’t suddenly make it yours, and this is what this “theme maker” pretty much runs on.

And the theme for Sensational Disney isn’t public anyway (and they never will be, unless I post a modified version here)

so that’s two theme making rules broken at once (using existing code as a base, redistribution).

I hate people.

HOTLIMIT THEME 002: VESTIGE

LIVE PREVIEW || CODE

OMFG it’s my second theme! I’m sorry that there really isn’t too much difference between this and the first one. I just started a new job and honestly, it’s kinda draining. ): Please excuse the seizureriffic GIF as well; tumblr’s being a butt again.

FEATURES:

• Audio covers in jewel cases (hover over for the audio player)
• Hover over sidebar image for sliding description
• Infinite scrolling option
• Lazy loading option
• Optional caption display
• Optional custom links
• Optional fading images (photo/photoset posts and sidebar image)
• Optional music player tab
• Optional permalink hover
• Optional Title/Subtitle Display
• Sliding pagination links
• Tags on permalink page

Once again, the sidebar title is optional because I don’t use it.

A couple of notes:

• Your sidebar image MUST be 250 x 210 pixels. No more, no less. Otherwise it just won’t look right (unless you know what you’re doing, of course).
• Keep your description short and sweet, too.
• Use the classic customize page. The new one is a mess and will fuck your shit up.
• Also recommended is the Billy player, if you decide to have the music tab.
• Immediately after you past the code into the custom HTML box, don’t forget to hit Reset Defaults (under Appearance on the classic customizer). Then you can clear the background and sidebar images and upload your own. Don’t forget to save often!
• I wouldn’t recommend having Infinite scroll and Lazy load activated at the same time. Lazy load is kinda nullified if IS is going.
• Best viewed in either Chrome or Firefox. I’ll try to make IE-friendly layouts one of these days. Today is not that day though.

OMG I didn’t even think it was gonna happen ;A; yet here we are

I may never reach the fame of some of the other Disney blogs but I’m grateful just the same. Thank you guys so much!

Since I’ve hit this milestone, now I can’t back out of that promise I made to produce another tutorial. It’s gonna take a couple of days, though (RETAIL CALLS), but I WILL post it!
